23 May 2026MP & ParliamentangryHe last spoke in Parliament back in March … and I just checked his voting record - 18th march!! Didn’t even vote on the Reform UK amendment on the Kings Speech. Disgraceful for someone who claims he should be the next PM
23 May 2026Local GovernmentmeasuredOur council worked hard to put on workshops for new cllrs, we were expected to attend. The language can be tricky but these cllrs should be reading the papers before the meeting (they are published 7days ahead) so they are equipped to act. Deeply worrying for residents if they are not doing this
22 May 2026Health & NHScelebratoryI was delighted to visit the UK Dementia Research Institute at King’s to mark Dementia Action Week. It was inspiring to learn how we are building toward a future where we can predict risk, prevent onset and personalise care for everyone affected by dementia.
21 May 2026OtherempatheticI’m deeply worried about it - talking to our spokesperson about next steps
21 May 2026OthermeasuredI hope Andrew or another member takes this on. We need to give people @dignityindying.org.uk
21 May 2026OthermeasuredI support us getting a new deal with the EU but a direct rejoin isn’t likely so I won’t sign but will make this point during debates in Parliament. EU has moved on & we need to focus on security - economic, energy, food & military - alongside our neighbours
21 May 2026Culture & CommunitycelebratoryI was delighted to attend the ‘An Ancient Light in the Dark’ exhibition at Walford Mill in Wimborne, created by students of AUB and QE school. Such a brilliant showcase of creativity right here in our community 👏
20 May 2026MP & ParliamentangryThe last time he spoke in Parliament was 26th MARCH!!
20 May 2026Local GovernmentmeasuredI am a huge supporter of town and parish councils and I am pleased the one in Broadstone has already met & they are committed to a strong programme. It is deeply disappointing reform uk don’t want to deliver for Poole & Bournemouth - we could have had some fabulous Cllrs who do
20 May 2026Economy & Jobs (General)measuredGreat to visit E-motion Fitness Hub in Poole to discuss a fairer deal for independent gyms. As a former small business owner, I know how unfair the system can be for hard-working individuals trying to survive and grow, particularly for those operating in physical spaces within local communities.
19 May 2026Local GovernmentmeasuredGreat to attend a meeting I organised with the Fire Minister today, alongside my Lib Dem colleagues in Dorset and Wiltshire. We made clear the challenges of the current outdated Funding Formula and were reassured that work is already underway amongst officials to review this.
19 May 2026Local GovernmentmeasuredThe post office is a different organisation. I’m also not the decision maker for that - in some cases a retailer ends a contract but PO as an independent business is who should be held to account for the retention of their branch network
19 May 2026OthermeasuredThough I haven’t forgotten about my constituents whose letters and packets are taking way too long to arrive!
17 May 2026Culture & CommunitycelebratoryFantastic to be at Wimborne Literary Festival listening to @ottoenglish.bsky.social share stories from Notorious Good people sometimes do bad things, bad people sometimes do good things but there are also some really bad people. Excited to read about villains who were hard done by in history books!
17 May 2026Health & NHScelebratoryA lovely morning - one of the biggest DGRs in the world. The BCP ride 2016 has already raised over £100k for Movember to supports prostate cancer research and men’s mental health Great to support my dad taking part in the event 🩵💚
17 May 2026Culture & CommunitycelebratoryIt was fantastic to attend the Civic Thanksgiving Service a week ago today. A wonderful celebration of community spirit that brings together councillors, volunteers, organisations and residents from across Dorset.
16 May 2026OthermeasuredI have committed to reintroduce the Assisted Dying Bill, but will consider a Nature Bill if someone higher on ballot selects AD. Given that only 20 from 650 will be successful I am not expecting to have a PMB at all in truth. Both will get my support if others are chosen
16 May 2026Environmentmeasured Assuming this is a bill someone intends to submit to the Private Members Bill Ballot as this is not a bill scheduled for debate? If it wins ballot I will look T details, as you know I was a signed up supporter of CAN last session
16 May 2026Health & NHSmeasuredThis week is #mentalhealthawarness Week. 💛 The theme for this year is 'action'. Raising awareness is vital, but real change comes when we take action too. We need action in our NHS, schools, prisons and housing services to better support people when they need it. #mhaw @mentalhealthfoundation
14 May 2026MP & ParliamentmeasuredReflecting on yesterday's King's Speech. 💭 I will be digesting this over the next few days and am aiming to speak on the speech in Parliament on Monday. What did you think?
13 May 2026EducationangryThe issue with criminology is utterly shocking & I have taken this up with the head & the trust. If you want to write to me I can update you … but I think they have utterly failed the children - and it’s not the first year that’s happened
13 May 2026MP & ParliamentcelebratoryIt was such a special moment to attend the King's Speech today. Beyond the pageantry, today marks the start of a vital new legislative session. There is so much to be done to move our country forward, and I'm honoured to be your voice in Parliament as we start this next chapter.
13 May 2026EducationmeasuredThe blame lies with Initios planned cuts at these two schools. I am meeting with one of the heads next wk as I know they have been trying to hear the concerns of staff & parents
11 May 2026EducationangrySchool funding belongs in the classroom, not the boardroom. 📚 The unprecedented cuts at Corfe Hills and QE School are devastating. We need urgent reform to Multi-Academy Trust governance to ensure every penny of funding prioritises our students, not executive operations.
8 May 2026Health & NHScelebratoryWonderful to be in Wareham today to unveil a new community defibrillator! ❤️ Access to life-saving equipment in our town centres is vital. 📍 You can find the new unit outside Fleur De Lis on West Street. Please take a moment to spot it next time you're passing!
7 May 2026Culture & CommunitycelebratoryI am proud to celebrate Trans+ History Week. 🏳️‍⚧️ Trans+ people have always been here, contributing to culture, science and innovation. I will always stand in solidarity as an ally as we fight together for a fairer and more just world. #TransHistoryWeek
4 May 2026Immigrationangryappalling on many fronts 1st “detention camps” fail to show compassion for vulnerable inc women/children who’ve fled horrors 2nd “illegals” message does nothing to recognise nuance where trafficked/abused or claimed after here for fair reasons 3rd voter blackmail no evidence of putting where works
3 May 2026OthercelebratoryI was proud to recently attend an event in Parliament hosted by representatives from Animal Free Research UK and the Centre for Human Specific Research in support of Herbie's Law, exploring alternative solutions to animal testing.
3 May 2026Local GovernmentmeasuredOut on the doors today in Bournemouth & there were more people who wanted to make sure they DONT get elected
3 May 2026MP & ParliamentmeasuredWe need the Representation of the People Bill to go further & faster!
