29 Apr 2026Crime & PolicingangryHow about the truth - Renee Goode did not deserve to die. Full Stop
28 Apr 2026MP & ParliamentmeasuredIf this is still O/S I would encourage you to flag with your MP - these cases when challenged will help bring about change
28 Apr 2026OthermeasuredThings are changing. Non medical apps are done within 3 days usually & new system should improve medical ones too
28 Apr 2026TransportmeasuredIndeed - that’s what the debate was about. Have a listen to the ministers response
28 Apr 2026OthermeasuredThat’s because the medical system is only just coming into play.
28 Apr 2026MP & ParliamentangryI was delighted to be able to host a debate in Parliament last week to raise the experience that many of my constituents have faced. Too many have faced extreme delays due to an antiquated service in which their cases have simply stalled. The DVLA is not a functioning public service.
27 Apr 2026Technology & DigitaldefensiveWe know that people want to see a social media ban, we prefer a film style option but the Govts offer was weak I am proud that the @libdems.org.uk let up our fight tonight, when the Tories decided to sit on their hands or go home. No change is not an option www.instagram.com/reel/DXpxQIq...
27 Apr 2026EnvironmentmeasuredI have been receiving casework regarding the ongoing smell in Wareham. As a result, I met with the Environment Agency last week to get an update 👉️
26 Apr 2026TransportmeasuredOn Monday, Councillor Peter Sidaway and I went to meet with Broadstone First School to continue our work looking at how we can help to improve safety at this location for families travelling to and from school.
26 Apr 2026Defence & SecuritymeasuredYes he did - that’s what the military does, keeps us safe from adversaries
26 Apr 2026Culture & CommunitycelebratoryIt was a privilege to be asked to join the Purbeck Scouts St George’s Day Parade at Corfe Castle and give a short speech to the assembled young people The patron saint of England is also the PS of Scouts 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 chosen by Baden Powell for the qualities of courage, service, dedication & kindness.
26 Apr 2026Agriculture & Rural EconomycelebratoryIfantastic to welcome @sarahdykeld.bsky.social my friend & @libdems.org.uk Spokes 4 Rural Affairs lead a farming round table in Lytchett yesterday talking food security, climate resilience, tax, funding, farming MH & next gen. then campaigning in Broadstone for Town Council
25 Apr 2026Culture & CommunitycelebratoryGreat to welcome two fantastic community champions up in Parliament recently... ⭐️ Krista Cartlidge CEO from MyTime Young Carers ⭐️ Martin Edwards CEO of Julia's House Children's Hospice Both are brilliant advocates doing so much for children and young people across our communities in Dorset.
25 Apr 2026Culture & CommunitymeasuredWell it may backfire as locals protest and some say they will boycott the venue.
25 Apr 2026Culture & CommunityangrySadly the lovely town of Wimborne in Dorset that you are visiting next month has accepted her… the Town Council and residents have objected. Sadly the reply to my letter to the theatre was unhelpful. This is not comedy, this is hate towards all sorts of groups & we will protest her appearance
24 Apr 2026Local GovernmentmeasuredIf you have proof of registration you should be able to do so. Your Cllr may be able to help if you email
24 Apr 2026OthermeasuredIndeed I did think about submitting an amendment to that effect
24 Apr 2026Health & NHSempatheticI am so sorry to hear this. We will keep fighting for your choice and dignity
23 Apr 2026Culture & CommunitymeasuredAnd also the basis of the flag of Georgia unsurprisingly. The values of St George and the fact that he wasn’t British is why I think we should all embrace it, rather than to claim it 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
23 Apr 2026Culture & CommunitymeasuredLast week I met with Darryl, Steve, Terry & Scott to hear their concerns that Holt FC is to be sold. This week I raised this issue in Parliament - community groups can't compete with private buyers. I welcome the Government's commitment for the need for an independent valuation.
22 Apr 2026Health & NHSmeasuredA sad day with Dignity in Dying as we expect the Lords to finally throw out the Assisted Dying Bill. However, there is so much hope here. I am passionate about moving this through. In the next session of Parliament we will do all we can to bring this Bill back. Today is a 'bump in the road'.
22 Apr 2026Economy & Jobs (General)measuredLast week I had a meeting with Minister McDonald - the Minister for Industry in the UK - alongside Richard from local steel manufacturer Hy-Ten to discuss current issues around capacity in the steel sector and the resulting impact this is having on our economy and construction.
22 Apr 2026Cost of LivingmeasuredWith inflation up and BBC reporting insider trading, @libdems.org.uk want to see the Govt help struggling households & business using increased tax take from higher energy prices. Buses, trains, vans and cars - we need to keep people and goods moving
21 Apr 2026Health & NHScelebratoryFascinating at the Herbie’s Law event to learn more about the “organ-on-a-chip” technology which could rapidly replace many experiments on animals, reducing harm to them and allowing human tissue to be used which is more effective
21 Apr 2026EnvironmentsarcasticGosh, I wish this report had come out last week. It would’ve affected my prime minister’s question.
21 Apr 2026EnvironmentcelebratoryNot only is it great to be back in Parliament after a busy recess - it was a brilliant week celebrating our successful campaign alongside Dorset Wildlife Trust to #SaveUptonHeath!
20 Apr 2026EnvironmentcelebratoryHow wonderful to welcome Sir Ed Davey to Upton Heath yesterday to celebrate the power of community. Alongside Dorset Wildlife Trust, it was the community that came together to secure the section of Upton Heath that was up for sale and ensure that it is protected for future generations.
18 Apr 2026MP & ParliamentcelebratoryA fantastic campaigning day with @libdems.org.uk in Bournemouth & Broadstone … the sun was shining & people were keen to vote for hard-working Community champions & prevent reform uk getting any sort of a hold in their neighbourhoods
18 Apr 2026Culture & CommunitymeasuredIf that’s the case then they should not be surprised if people leave in their droves … was trying to give benefit of the doubt
18 Apr 2026OthermeasuredSpot on - the simplicity of Brexit & empty promises are always going to be attractive but Brexit has taught us that nothing is straight forward & the EU was never the negative influence it was portrayed as. We need to move closer to Europe with a view to being part of the EU or whatever comes next
