It is an honour to serve under your chairmanship, Sir Edward. I congratulate the hon. Member for Mid Bedfordshire (Blake Stephenson) on securing this important debate. If Members are thinking about where to visit in the Easter or summer holidays, I have a location in mind. It is somewhere visitors can pick up a fossil,

20 Mar 2025 Business of the House

My condolences to the shadow Leader of the House and his family. As a physiotherapist prior to being elected to this place, I was delighted to welcome members of all 14 allied health professions to a roundtable in Parliament this week. They account for about a third of the NHS’s entire workforce and work tirelessly to

19 Mar 2025Business and Trade Sub-Committee on Economic Security, Arms and Export Controls — Oral Evidence (HC 798)

Have you looked at modelling in other countries that may be doing a better job when it comes to fees and prosecutions? We could learn from some of their best practice, which could be implemented in the UK.

18 Mar 2025Business and Trade Committee — Oral Evidence (HC 727)

You had a vaccine that was prepared and ready and the R&D was going to be then used to further see whether it was safe and was a viable option. Is that correct? I want to get the first point right. Is that right?

This is to the whole panel. You talked about exports and scale-ups and SMEs. What tangible outcomes would you like to see from the defence industry strategy by the end of the Parliament? What must be successful? I will start with Chris, because I am an SME fan.

Back to NICE, is it just payment or are there any other reasons in terms of the rigour that goes on in the clinical trials that they are looking into that they have rejected this drug in particular? Is payment the only reason?

T2. Red Hall primary school in my constituency of Dudley is split down the middle by Zoar Street. The theft of lead from the Victorian roofs, leakages and no real playground do not make an environment for children to thrive. In 2010, the Conservatives shelved the plans to consolidate and repair the school on one side o
