30 Mar 2026Defence & SecuritycelebratoryGreat to meet serving Royal Engineers and their families in Brompton for another constituency coffee morning. We covered a wide range of local, national, and international issues. Thanks to the Royal Engineers for hosting - I’ll always work to support our local military community.
29 Mar 2026Culture & CommunitycelebratoryThanks to Friends of Rede Common and The Salvation Army Strood for organising Great British Spring Clean events. Great to be out on in Strood on the Common and around Gun Lane helping to tidy up. And thank you to everyone who joined in, including Labour councillors David, Sharon and Stephen.
29 Mar 2026Local Governmentcelebratory🌹Great to support Lewisham Labour friends in Lewisham last weekend ahead of the elections on 7 May. They have some fantastic local council candidates, and Labour’s Mayoral candidate Amanda De Ryk is extremely impressive.

27 Mar 2026Health & NHScelebratory🚁 The Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex provides 24/7 critical care across Kent and Medway from its base in Rochester. It was great to meet their Chief Executive and people helped by their lifesaving service. Learn more or donate: buff.ly/jNCubMj
27 Mar 2026Economy & Jobs (General)measuredCo‑working and flexible workspaces are essential for regenerating our high streets, drawing people into town centres and supporting local businesses. But changes to business rates threaten their model. My recent Parliamentary Question and the Minister’s response on this are below.
