A new constituency created in the 2023 boundary review. Won by Con in its first election in 2024. Covers East Grinstead, Uckfield and Copthorne. Population 91,571, notably older (median age 47 vs 41 nationally). Recorded crime is 65% below the national average.

At 99.7% party alignment, Mims Davies is one of the most loyal Conservative MPs in the Commons -- but she broke ranks notably in November 2024, voting in favour of the Tobacco and Vapes Bill's Second Reading against her party's majority. More recently, she has consistently voted to retain Lords amendments against the Labour government's attempts to override them, particularly on the Pension Schemes Bill where she opposed giving ministers powers to direct how private pension funds invest savers' money, and on the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill. She is a 100% supporter of Lords scrutiny on issues where this has been tested in votes.

Davies participates at 78% of votes -- slightly below the Commons average -- and her speeches are heavily focused on economy and jobs, social care, health, and local government, with 163 contributions across 93 debates. Beyond her rebel vote on tobacco, she rarely deviates from Conservative positions, though she sits notably above her party average on pro-local-democracy votes (+41 percentage points) and below it on lords-override (-26 points), consistent with her voting record. She scores strongly pro-business (91%) and anti-tax-increases (88%).
